The goal of Young Adult Ministry is to gather young adults in their 20's and 30's, married or single, from throughout the Diocese of Cheyenne together to reflect on the task of Young Adult Ministry in our diocese as defined in the USCCB Document Sons and Daughters of the Light. The tasks include developing a personal identity, developing relationships, developing a meaning of work and developing a spiritual life.
Our desire is to create ministry opportunities for young adults in our diocese that meet the four basic goals set forth by the National Catholic Young Adult Ministry Association. These goals included:
a. Connect young adults to God through Jesus Christ;
b. Connect young adults to the Church and the Christian Community;
c. Connect young adults to the mission of the Church in the world;
d. Connect young adults to a peer community to further support and nurture their faith.
