Thursday, February 6 – USA/ROME (Day 1)
Depart from Denver to Rome.

Friday, February 7– ROME/FLORENCE (Day 2)
Arrive at Leonardo da Vinci Airport at Fiumicino at 9:40 am. You will be met by your tour escort by your luggage carousel in the baggage claim area. He will be holding up a sign indicating “Diocese of Cheyenne Pilgrimage” and will direct you to your motor coach. Depart for Florence with stop for lunch on own en route, and check-in at Hotel Adler Cavalieri. Dinner at local restaurant. (D)

Saturday, February 8 – FLORENCE (Day 3)
Breakfast at hotel. Departure for Mass at the Basilica of S. Maria Novella, followed by a guided tour of the main city sites, to include the Basilica of the Holy Cross, the Cathedral and the Accademia to admire Michelangelo’s magnificent statue of David. Lunch on own and afternoon free (optional guided tour of the Uffizi Gallery, upon request ahead of time). Dinner at local restaurant. (B,D).

Sunday, February 9 – FLORENCE/ASSISI (Day 4)
Breakfast at hotel and check-out. Departure for Assisi. Mass at the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels, followed by a guided tour where you will see the Porziuncola and the miraculous rose garden. Check-in at Hotel dei Priori. Lunch on own and afternoon free. Dinner at hotel. (B,D)

Monday, February 10 – ASSISI (Day 5)
Breakfast at hotel. Departure for Mass at the Basilica of St. Francis, followed by a guided tour of the city to include the Basilicas of St. Francis and St. Clare, and the Church of San Damiano and Chiesa Nuova. Lunch on own. Afternoon free time on own. Dinner at hotel. (B,D)

Tuesday, February 11 – ASSISI/ORVIETO/ROME (Day 6)
Breakfast at hotel and check-out. Depart for Orvieto where you will have Mass and enjoy a guided tour of the beautiful cathedral which also houses magnificent works of art by famous artists, including Fra Angelico, in the Chapel of San Brizio. Lunch at Ristorante Maurizio. Departure for Rome. Check-in at Starhotel Michelangelo. Free time to purchase religious goods to have blessed at the papal audience tomorrow. Dinner at local restaurant. Wednesday, February 12 – ROME (Day 7)
Breakfast at hotel. Departure for the general papal audience with Pope Francis in St. Peter’s Square. Lunch on own. Afternoon departure for a guided tour of Baroque Rome which will include the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Navona Square, Pantheon, and the Basilica of St. Mary above Minerva, where you will have Mass. Dinner at local restaurant. (B,D)

Thursday, February 13 –ROME (Day 8)
Breakfast at hotel. Departure for Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica, followed by a guided tour of the Scavi (necropolis beneath St. Peter’s Basilica). Lunch on own. Afternoon guided tour of the Vatican Museums/Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica. Dinner at local restaurant. (B,D)

Friday, February 14 – ROME (Day 9)
Breakfast at hotel. Departure for a guided tour of Ancient Rome, to include the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Mammertine Prison, and Basilica of St. Peter in Chains, which houses Michelangelo’s magnificent statue of Moses, and where you will have Mass. Lunch at Ristorante Cecilia Metella. Dinner on own (optional Evening Prayer with the Community of Sant’Egidio). (B,L)

Saturday, February 15 – ROME (Day 10)
Breakfast at hotel. Departure for a guided tour of the Basilicas of St. Paul Outside the Walls, St. John Lateran, and St. Mary Major, where you will also have Mass. Lunch on own and afternoon free. Farewell dinner at local restaurant. (B,D)

Sunday, February 16 – ROME/USA (Day 11)
Breakfast at hotel and check-out. Departure for Fiumicino Airport for flight to Denver. Arrivederci Roma!! (B)

Terms & Conditions

Reservations : Deposit required at the time of booking is $500.00 per person. Balance is due 60 days prior to departure.

Air schedule & Transfers: Your transfers are included only if you purchase the Air & Land as a package; otherwise you are responsible for your own transfers. Air allowance will be made for those choosing not to use our air arrangements. The agency has complete control over the choice of airlines used and will do their best to book you the most convenient flight schedule.

Rates: Brochure rates are based on applicable exchange rates as of April 2019 and if the rates fluctuate we will invoice participants accordingly. Also, the tour price is based on a minimum of 30 participants.

Insurance: The agency strongly recommends purchasing insurance against cancellations, trip interruption, luggage loss or damage, personal injury or hospitalization. By accepting to join the tour without insurance, clients hold the agency completely harmless of any conditions that will result in cancellation, interruption, or injury.

Travel Documents: Valid passport is required.

Unused Services: There will be NO REFUND for any unused portions of the program and it is understood that refunds will not be made to passengers who miss on any part of the tour for any cause whatsoever.

Itinerary: Although the agency and its agents and representatives will make every effort to adhere to the printed program and itinerary, on rare occasions it may be necessary to adjust arrangements due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (weather, airline schedule change, hotel requisitions, political disturbances, or transportation mechanical problems). Should such adjustment be necessary, substitution will be made to the best of our abilities and no refund will be made. Any additional costs necessitated by such changes are the full responsibility of the passenger.

Final Documents: Final documents, including airline tickets, local contact information, and final reminders will be sent to Bishop Biegler between 2 to 3 weeks prior to date of departure.

Cancellation and Refunds: Cancellations must be received in writing and will be processed according to the date the written notice is received. Although a verbal cancellation is appreciated, it will not be accepted as final notice. Money will be refunded minus the cancellation fees as follows:
Up to 100 days prior to departure: $250.00
99-75 days prior to departure: $500.00
74-60 days prior to departure: $750.00
59-30 days prior to departure: 50% of total land cost
29-0 days prior to departure: NO REFUND
